Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-01-01. This page is a plain-English summary of what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account data. Email, display name, time zone, and a profile photo if you upload one. Authentication itself is handled by our identity provider; we never store your password.
- Session data. The bookings you make, the trainers you work with, the chat / files / notes attached to each session.
- Payment data. Card information is held by our payments processor (Stripe), not by arieslift. We store a record of each transaction (amount, date, status) for accounting.
- Usage data. Page views, click events, and basic performance metrics so we can debug issues and improve the product.
What we don't collect
- We do not sell your data to advertisers.
- We do not use third-party tracking pixels for ad re-targeting.
- Sessions are not recorded by default. If a recording is requested (e.g. for a dispute), both parties are informed.
How long we keep data
Active account data is retained as long as your account is active. Closed accounts: identifying data is deleted within 30 days of closure, except where we are legally required to retain transaction history (typically 7 years for tax purposes).
Your choices
- Access. You can download a copy of your data at any time from the Settings page.
- Correction. Edit your profile fields directly in Settings.
- Deletion. Request account closure from Settings → Privacy. We will confirm by email before processing.
- Notifications. Per-channel and per-event-type opt-out from Settings → Notifications.
